Data deletion

Here is how to remove a social connection or request complete deletion of your Marchilo data.

Pilot version

Removing an integration from Facebook or Instagram blocks future access but may not delete data already stored. Please also follow the Marchilo process below.

Remove only Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn

    Open Connections

    In Marchilo, open Dashboard, then Connections.

    Disconnect the account

    Choose the relevant Page or account and select Disconnect. Marchilo then removes the stored access and refresh tokens for that connection.

    Remove the external authorization

    You may then remove Marchilo from Meta Business Integrations or the other platform’s settings to revoke authorization on the social network.

Request complete deletion

    Send your request

    Email contact@marchilo.com from your account address with the subject “Delete my Marchilo data”.

    State the scope

    Say whether you want to remove one social connection or your entire account, projects, and content. Never send your password or an access token.

    Verification and processing

    Marchilo may reasonably verify your identity and then processes the request within the time required by applicable law.

    Confirmation

    You receive confirmation when deletion from active systems is complete.

Data covered

  • Marchilo account profile and identifiers.
  • Projects, brands, products, documents, content, media, and schedules.
  • Social-account identifiers, recorded permissions, and encrypted tokens.
  • Publishing requests that have not yet run.

Technical delays and exceptions

Active data is removed once the request is validated. Residual copies may remain in secured backups until their rotation ends, currently within 14 days, and are not reused except when restoration is necessary. Some information may be retained longer where required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
